The focus of the seminar is to inform Migrant Liaisons, Counselors and Professionals who have daily contact with immigrant families about services that are available for this population through direct communication. With the support of community leaders, business owners, educators, business entities and families, $58,000 were awarded last year. The uniqueness of this event is that 100% of the money donated is given directly from the donors to the scholarship recipients.
